Crafting Beauty: A Custom Dress for The Raffaella Ballet’s Choreographer

I recently had the privilege of designing an exquisite custom dress for choreographer Claire Kretzschmar for the world premiere of The Raffaella Ballet in South Bend, Indiana. Inspired by the life and beauty of Raffaella Stroik, the dress featured a stunning rose silk twill fabric with gold metallic embossing. Despite limited time and fabric, the final design showcased a soft yet structured drape with pleated skirts and a floral sash. This collaboration highlighted the importance of beauty and craftsmanship in art, and the ballet's success was a testament to the enduring impact of devotion and artistic dedication.
